Beyoncé buys out Ivy Park from Philip Green

Ownership of hit athlesiure line was originally a 50-50 split.

Beyoncé has bought out Philip Green from her Ivy Park athleisure brand.

The collection originally launched in Topshop back in 2016, becoming an immediate hit. The ownership of Ivy Park was a 50-50 split between Beyoncé and Arcadia Group, of which Philip Green is chairman.

However, the star’s company Parkwood has now bought his 50% share for an undisclosed sum.

Allegations of sexual misconduct, racism and harassment against Philip Green emerged last month, however a statement from Ivy Park says that discussions on the deal predate the accusations.

The Ivy Park brand said in a statement: “After discussions of almost a year, Parkwood has acquired 100% of the Ivy Park brand. Topshop/Arcadia will fulfil the existing orders.”
