YouTube, Target, Hot Topic and Hasbro among additions to new event.

A raft of new speakers have been confirmed for the NYC Summit, as the inaugural event continues to take shape.

The latest speakers to join the two-day conference – which runs on March 1-2 and has been developed by License Global with LIMA and trade show organisers UBM Americas – include execs from top retailers Target and Hot Topic.

Gaye Dean, group manager of Target Stores and Cindy Levitt, svp, merchandising and marketing at Hot Topic, join Benjamin Grubbs, global head of top creators at YouTube, Simon Waters, general manager and svp entertainment and licensing at Hasbro, and Eric Beder, md of Wunderlich Securities in the speaker line-up.

In addition, leading the Licensing Agents Forum – which will include insights and case studies on the value of corporate brand licensing – will be Jay Asher, partner at Brandgenuity; Debra Joester, president of The Joester Loria Group; and Stu Seltzer, president of The Seltzer Licensing Group.

The NYC Summit will take place at the New York Marriott Downtown in New York City.

Early bird registration rates are in effect through to January 31, while LIMA members will receive an additional $100 discount. A special block of rooms has also been reserved at the New York Marriott Downtown at a discounted rate.
