Brand & Deliver ties with Enid Blyton Entertainment

Company will secure UK brand partnerships for the portfolio.

Enid Blyton Entertainment has appointed Brand & Deliver to secure UK brand partnerships for its portfolio of Enid Blyton brands.

Enid Blyton Entertainment – which is part of the Hachette Children’s Group – represents and protects every aspect of the Enid Blyton brand, including publishing, licensing and commercial partnerships.

B&D has been tasked with using its data-driven approach to look after partnership opportunities for Enid Blyton Entertainment, which includes series such as The Famous Five, The Secret Seven and Malory Towers.

“As custodians, we safeguard the global legacy of this extraordinary author while keeping Enid Blyton in the hearts of every childhood, as she has been for generations,” explained Katie Price, licensing director at Hachette Children’s Group.

“Working alongside Brand & Deliver will enable us to bring Enid Blyton’s stories and characters to new audiences via creative partnerships that will remain sympathetic to the original brand values.”

Ros Carmoody, partnerships director at Brand & Deliver, added: “We’re really excited to develop wholesome family partnerships for Enid Blyton Entertainment to build on and increase the brand’s recognition and appeal with existing fans and new audiences.

“Enid Blyton’s wealth of stories, characters and their sense of adventure, makes this an extremely appealing property to work with. Our partnerships and campaigns will stay true to the integrity of the Enid Blyton stories.”

Last year saw the 75th anniversary of The Famous Five celebrated with new-look publishing from HCG. In the same year, the first licensed products for The Famous Five were launched including greeting cards, games and dress-up, while there was also a partnership with Great Western Railway.
