Oxford secures new apparel partner in Europe

Three-year deal secured with BrandDesign by UK and European agent, Global Icons.

Oxford Limited has welcomed a new fashion apparel partner to the University of Oxford licensing programme.

Switzerland-based BrandDesign will focus on fashion-forward designs based on Oxford’s heritage and iconic status including t-shirts, sweatshirts and accessories.

The three-year deal was secured by Global Icons, Oxford’s UK and European licensing agent.

“BrandDesign has a track record of successfully creating licensed fashion lines for large international fashion retailers and has identified Oxford as a brand they’d like to develop for this market,” commented Chris Evans, md of Oxford Limited.

Lars Østergaard, ceo of BrandDesign, added: “We at BrandDesign are extremely excited to start the collaboration with Oxford University. With its amazing heritage and iconic recognition, we look forward to adding our ‘ingredients’ to make products appealing to the fashion forward segment.”
