David will be growing European, Russian, Australasian and Middle East licensing opportunities.
Video games publisher Bethesda is looking to expand its licensing opportunities across key territories and has appointed David Evans to manage the growth.
David (pictured) has joined the company as senior European licensing and merchandise manager.
He will oversee licensing for Bethesda’s portfolio of gaming brands such as Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, DOOM, Wolfenstein, The Evil Within, Prey, Dishonored, RAGE and QUAKE in Europe, Russia, Australasia and the Middle East.
In his role, David will manage retail development programmes, the expansion of Bethesda’s European online merchandise store and licensing opportunities across the territories.
He will work closely with Michael Kochis, Bethesda’s global licensing director based in the North American head office, and will report directly to Paul Oughton, European sales director.
David joins from SIEE where he spent five years building up the licensing programme.
“It’s a great opportunity to join the Bethesda team and I’m very excited to work with some of the world’s best known gaming properties,” said David.
“Video game IP is a thriving area of the licensing industry and I look forward to working with our partners to help grow the licensing business at Bethesda.”
Paul Oughton added: “David brings valuable experiences of building successful gaming IP licensing programmes. He’s got strong foundations in manufacturing and retail, and his partnership experience makes him ideal to lead Bethesda Europe’s licensing expansion.”
