My Little Pony spoofs Saved by the Bell

Music video inspired by 1990’s US sitcom marks premiere of new Friendship is Magic season.

The My Little Pony team has released its latest music-inspired video spoof on YouTube to mark the new season of Friendship is Magic in the US.

This year, the team has created a video inspired by hit 1990’s US sitcom Saved by the Bell theme song, titled Saved by My friends.

The song is relevant to the new series of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic – which debuted on March 24 on Discovery Family in the US – as the new series sees the characters venture outside of Equestria to open a School of Friendship.

The eighth season of the show, it includes 26 half hour episodes and seven original songs and new characters. The first two episodes follow on from the events in My Little Pony: The Movie.
