ITVS GE welcomes Moorcroft, Robert James and Nemesis Now for reimagining.
ITV Studios Global Entertainment has secured a trio of deals for the new BBC/Netflix co-production of Watership Down.
The new four-part CGI mini-series – which is a reimagining of the classic family favourite written by Richard Adams – will debut in autumn/winter 2018 on the BBC in the UK and globally on Netflix, before being made available on Netflix in the UK for spring/summer 2019.
Fine art pottery studio Moorcroft will produce limited edition fine art ceramics based on Warership Down, launching in January 2019.
Meanwhile, Robert James will be launching a collection of outdoor bronze sculptures, planned for release in May 2019. Finally, Nemesis Now – which specialises in fantasy and gothic giftware – will create bronze figurines of five of the main characters from the series, available from December 2018.
The deals follow on from the signing of Pan Macmillan as master strategic publishing partner last October.
