Event to be held on March 24 at Manchester Museum of Science and Industry.
The launch of the new Little Miss Inventor character is due to take place at a special event at the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry.
The new Mr Men Little Miss character – which was originally unveiled last November and is the 36th in the series – is a female engineer, who invents things for herself and her friends.
The interactive event – which is being held on Saturday, March 24 and has free admission – will aim to celebrate the best inventions from around the world and inspire children to get inventing.
It will feature great inventions, storytelling and inspiring talks from the world of invention, science and technology. Little Miss Inventor herself will also be present.
Alastair McHarrie, licensing director at Sanrio, said: “I always enjoy seeing how people respond to a brand new character.
“We know how excited our fans will be to meet Little Miss Inventor and the event launch is the perfect way for children to get into inventing and science.”
Children have also been asked to enter their wackiest invention to help Mr Bump to win the chance of being written into an upcoming Mr Men Little Miss title. The winner will be announced at the event.
