Pusheen gets celebrity fans purring

Instagram posts from Ed Sheeran and Kim Kardashian ignite further social media interest.

Celebrities are continuing to post their love of Pusheen on social media, with Ed Sheeran and Kim Kardashian being the latest in a long line of famous faces to share their affection for the character.

Ed posted an image of Pusheen on his Instagram feed earlier this week, accompanied by the caption ‘Pusheen the great’.

Within five hours, the post received over 400,000 likes and had reached his worldwide fan base of 20 million.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian also posted to her Instagram story – reaching her 108 million global followers – after receiving a goody bag from Claire’s for her and sister Kourtney Kardashian, with gifts including Pusheen product for their children North West and Penelope Disick.

Ed and Kim are the latest in a long line of celebrities who have proclaimed their love for the feline, joining the likes of Bill Gates, Jimmy Fallon, Ingrid Nilsen, Gizzi Erksine, Nicky Hilton and Scott Disick.
