Bravado and the emoji brand have teamed up with Lazerbuilt for a new range of accessories. The partnership includes a variety of product covering the audio, mobile, travel and car accessories categories. It will be launching from April 2018, further expanding the licensed product already available in the UK for the brand.

Horrible Histories: The Movie has been confirmed and is due to hit screens in 2019. The news of the film – which is being produced by Altitude Film Entertainment with Citrus Films – is sure to give a boost to the licensing programme, which is handled by Rocket Licensing, as the 25th anniversary approaches.

One Animation has revealed a series of multi-category licensing deals across Europe for its Oddbods brand, spanning apparel, home and FMCG. Talent Show (confectionery), Confitrade (fruit gems), Balocco (Easter eggs), Herding (bedding and home textiles), Origami Group (puzzles/arts and crafts) and Baltic (BTS bags and stationery) are all on board.

In addition, One Animation will debut its new Oddbods series of one minute episodes on YouTube and the YouTube Kids app. Including a number of seasonal Christmas-themed episodes, Oddbods will also be an exclusive feature on the YouTube Kids app homepage in December.

Winemaker Lot18 has teamed with Universal Brand Development and NBC series Saturday Night Live for a new wine collection celebrating the long running show and some of its most entertaining characters. The limited edition collection features four hand-crafted blends and uniquely designed labels to honour the ‘essence’ of the show, currently in its 43rd season.

Guru Studio has expanded its senior management team with two key appointments. Former Disney executive Kara Lord Piersimoni joins as vp of production, while Daniel Rattner – most recently at Mazu – becomes senior director of marketing and branding.

China’s national broadcaster, China Central Television is once again working with Sesame Workshop to co-produce Sesame Street segments for CCTV’s annual Spring Festival special. For the first time, CCTV will be on the set in New York to shoot segments showcasing Chinese New Year traditions, customs and stories.

iflix has picked up Super Geek Heroes for its subscription video on demand service, which is focused on emerging markets. The series will launch on the site in 2018 and will be available to view across 52 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, 26 across the Middle East and North Africa and 16 within South East Asia.

Knockout Licensing has signed Cotton Babies as the latest licensee to the Little House on the Prairie programme. The new range of nappies include three sets of prints inspired by Little House in the Big Woods, the first book in the series.

JAM Media has secured a key US broadcast deal for its hybrid live action/animated series Little Roy with Universal Kids, the cable network for children aged two to 12.
