Lisle Licensing adds School of Roars

Dot to Dot Productions hires agency to handle brand in the UK and Eire.

Lisle Licensing has welcomed preschool series School of Roars to its portfolio, with Dot to Dot Productions appointing the company to handle the brand in the UK and Eire.

The 2D animated comedy has been a hit on CBeebies since it began airing in February, while Sprout came on board as US broadcast partner in August.

The series helps children prepare for school life by seeing relationships and experiences through the eyes of five mini monsters.

It features the voice talents of Kathy Burke, Sarah Lancashire and Andrew Scott.

The show is being supported by strong interactive elements including games apps, story apps and a website.

Hachette Publishing has been appointed to produce a series of books including story books, sticker books, shaped board books and recipe books, which are due to launch for spring 2018.

Signature Entertainment has acquired the DVD/home entertainment rights.

Lisle Licensing’s Francesca Lisle commented: “From the second we saw School of Roars we fell in love with it.

“Not only does the show have fantastic stories and bright and fun designs, but it also has an incredible cast. We now look forward to progressing conversations with licensees and retailers for categories such as toys and seeing the brand come to life.”
