Xilam launches Oggy app worldwide

App has already passed 1.5 million downloads says company.

Xilam Animation has launched its popular Oggy & the Cockroaches app worldwide.

Until now, the app – which has been designed in-house by Xilam and developed by mobile publishing company Playsoft – has only been available in France.

Marc du Pontavice, founder and president at Xilam Animation, said: “We are thrilled to announce that Oggy’s app has already passed 1.5 million downloads and is now growing fast in other countries, from India to Italy.”

The game – which includes in-app purchases offering bonus levels – features three different worlds to explore, cartoon-style graphics, three super powers and the chance to challenge friends on Facebook.

Distributed in more than 160 countries around the world and watched in 600 million homes via linear TV and SVOD platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, Oggy & the Cockroaches also has a cult following on Facebook with more than 3.5 million fans and 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube.
