Katherine Ryan to host The UK Licensing Awards

Comedian and TV presenter to take the helm of industry’s big night on September 12.

Stand up comedian and TV presenter Katherine Ryan is to host The UK Licensing Awards next month.

Katherine (pictured) will take the helm in front of 1,400 industry professionals, who will gather in The Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on Tuesday September 12 to find out this year’s winners.

Katherine is a regular on popular panel shows including Live At The Apollo, Would I Lie to You?, A League of Their Own and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

Her recent factual entertainment series How’d You Get So Rich? was a hit on Channel 4, while she also co-hosted Your Face or Mine with Jimmy Carr for Comedy Central.

In addition, Katherine is only the second British-based comedian to have a Netflix Original Comedy Special released globally, Katherine Ryan: In Trouble which was filmed at Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo in February.

Over 1,400 retailers, licensees and industry suppliers are set to attend this year’s big event. Following the awards, the party will continue with the After Bar Bar at Groovy Wonderland, backed by PowerStation Studios.
