Sponsorship details unveiled for Light Fund cycle ride

Confirmed cyclists for next year’s Bristol to Dublin ride now also over the 50 mark.

The sponsorship packages have now been confirmed for next year’s Light Fund Cycle Tour – in the same week that participants have passed the 50 mark.

A number of packages are available ranging from a Celebration Awards Package through to shirt sponsorship and individual items in the Bristol to Dublin survival kit.

As an overview, they are:

  • Celebration Awards Package – The CRAIC (Cycle Riders Arrival: Irish Celebration), £18,000
  • Gold Package – eight available at £7,000
  • Silver Package – ten available at £3,000
  • A Retail ‘Pitstop’ Package – £5,000
  • A Water Bottle Package – £2,500
  • Extra items and aids – £750 to sponsor individual items in the Bristol to Dublin survival kit including the likes of suncream, lip balm, sweatband, deodorant and tyre repair kit

The Light Fund 2018 Cycle Challenge is open to everyone globally from the licensing and associated industries. Managed by sports events company Classic Challenge, the four-day tour starts in Bristol on Tuesday June 12 2018, taking in the stunning Welsh and Irish countryside, with challenging climbs and invigorating downhills, before culminating in Dublin on Friday June 15. Training is recommended!

Each participant will need to pay an entry cost of £900 for a special ‘start to finish line’ package, inclusive of a £200 deposit upon registration, as well as individually fundraise for The Light Fund.
