New personalised Thunderbirds book line revealed

Historic Newspapers releases seven new personalised titles featuring classic brand.

Personalised gifting group, Historic Newspapers has unveiled seven new personalised Thunderbirds books.

Each edition features different collections of the original 1960s and 1970s comic book strips, including classic artwork from Franky Bellamy, Graham Bleathman, John Cooper, Eric Eden and Frank Hampson, with content from author, Gerry Anderson.

Turning each of the collector’s items into special keepsakes for Thunderbirds fans, the hardback edition books can be personalised with a name, which is embossed on the front cover. The title page of the book features a name as well as a personal message, and the book itself is presented inside a one-of-a-kind Thunderbirds gift box.

The softback editions feature a name on the front cover and in the header of every internal page, as well as a name on the title page, alongside a personal message.

Titles included in the range are: Thunderbirds Comic Collection Book (£49.99); Gerry Anderson Comic Collection Book (£49.99); Thunderbirds Classic Comics Volumes 1-5 (£14.99 each); and Thunderbirds Are Go Comic Volumes 1-5 (£14.99 each).

Kevin Sears, e-commerce director at Gifts Hub, said: “For many 60s and 70s children, Thunderbirds was a must-watch programme in every household, and the comics became the bestselling British boy’s comics of their time.

“The release of this new personalised range makes the perfect unique keepsake for any nostalgic fan, and allows an older generation to pass their childhood memories onto a younger audience.”
