Nickelodeon welcomes new vp of programming

Katharina Feistauer will join in July from Scripps Networks International.

Nickelodeon UK & Ireland is set to welcome a new vp of programming in July.

Katharina Feistauer joins the company from Scripps Networks International where she served as vp programming for UK and EMEA.

In her new role at Nickelodeon, she will be responsible for developing and executing strong schedules and media plans across the networks’ seven linear channels, as well as the entertainment brand’s on demand and digital platforms.

Her new role is announced as Nickelodeon embarks on its 11th month as the number one UK commercial kids’ network.

“I cannot wait for Katharina to join the team. Her experience and analytical approach to programming will be invaluable as we look to cement our current success over the coming years and grow our business,” said Alison Bakunowich, general manager of Nickelodeon UK & Ireland.
