Support package will aim to help licensors and licensees, says Dr Amanda Gummer.
Fundamentally Children will be unveiling a new ‘licensing framework’ package at Licensing Expo this month – aimed at helping both licensors and licensees avoid some common pitfalls.
The research and support package has been developed to try and prevent against a number of issues including the likes of products aimed at mismatched age groups, usability issues on popular apps, retailers misplacing a brand in-store and poor licensee relationships.
Dr Amanda Gummer, founder and ceo of Fundamentally Children, is working with Trudi Bishop, owner of Bee Licensing, who has joined the company’s growing Associate Network.
“The team at Fundamentally Children have been called in, often too late, to evaluate the products and try to help save the brand and it can be heartbreaking to watch,” Amanda commented.
Amanda believes that Trudi’s experience in licensing and product marketing will help to add further depth of understanding to both sides when it comes to developing a successful product range.
