Jewel Branding set for bumper Licensing Expo

Agency bringing host of properties to show floor including New York Botanical Gardens and Hang Ten.

Jewel Branding and Licensing is gearing up for a bumper showing at Licensing Expo, having already seen a busy start to 2017.

The US agency has seen the launch of a number of new licensing partnerships for its portfolio of designers and brands so far this year.

This includes a number of new introductions for New York Botanical Garden.

A new exclusive partnership between NYBG and luxury retailer Frontgate (pictured) means that hundreds of reprints from the Rare Book and Folio Collection in the Botanical Garden’s LuEsther T. Mertz Library are available for purchase framed and ready for placement on a wall.

Other launches in 2017 include stationery and journals from Clarkson Potter, puzzles and stationery with Pomegranate, and calendars by Willow Creek Press.

NYBG’s collaborations with Erwin Pearl for jewellery and fashion accessories, plus Caspari for tableware continue to expand with new product introductions. Categories available include apparel, home textiles, food and beverage and gardening products.

Meanwhile, the company is the exclusive agent for home categories in the US for original surf and California lifestyle brand, Hang Ten.

Jewel has secured a master licence with leading home manufacturer, CHF, which will be introducing a range of core bedding and bath items, such as comforter sets, pillows, shower curtains, bath accessories, towels and bath rugs.

Additional partners are being sought for tabletop, housewares, furniture, lighting and home décor.

The company will also be highlighting Bouffants & Broken Hearts; lifestyle brand Poetic Wanderlust by Tracy Porter; Catalina Estrade; Clairebella; Rachael Hale; Lily & Val and Nordic design brand Finlayson among others.
