Discovery ventures into outdoor pursuits

Company teams with Academy Sports + Outdoors for new Discovery Adventures line.

Discovery Consumer Products has partnered with Academy Sports + Outdoors for the launch of a new Discovery Adventures product line.

Aimed at outdoor adventurers, the new lifestyle range includes tents and sleeping bags for adults and children.

The collection is accompanied by an all-new Discovery Adventures mobile app, which launched in March. The app comes packed with useful tips for fending for yourself on any journey. It features weekly updates, news posts, outdoor VR, survival tips, essential tools and extreme choose-your-adventure survival challenges.

The retail debut also coincides with the launch of the new Discovery Adventures website and social platforms on Instagram and Facebook. The website is an online destination for all things Discovery Adventure, featuring short form content, quizzes, interactive content, exclusive products and more.
