Simba Smoby set for Wissper toy roll out

Master toy partner launching plush, figures and play-sets for preschool show.

Preschool show Wissper is to be brought to life in the toy aisles next month, with master toy partner Simba Smoby readying for a full product launch.

The series airs weekdays on Milkshake and Nick Jr Too, following the adventures of a little girl called Wissper who can talk to animals and enter new worlds through portals in her house.

Simba Smoby will be rolling out dolls, figures, plush and play-sets in April to support the brand.

These will be followed in the autumn with larger play-sets, including multiple play mechanics, plus a feature doll with interactive sounds and catchphrases.

The launch is being backed with a heavyweight marketing campaign. A TV drive will run on Tiny Pop, while there will also be awareness through girls’ magazine covermounts and competitions, as well as unboxings and social media coverage.

Mayur Pattni, head of marketing and licensing at Simba Smoby, commented: “We can’t wait to launch Wissper into the toy market. The range looks really strong and it’s as if the characters have walked off the screen and onto the toy shelf.

“We have lots of exciting marketing activity in place to really drive sales and are looking forward to seeing Wissper toys in stores.”
