Danger Mouse takes on Thomas Cook mission

Fremantle reveals collaboration with holiday company’s kids’ clubs for the brand.

Danger Mouse is set to star at Thomas Cook and Airtours kids’ clubs this summer, after FremantleMedia Kids & Family struck a new deal with the holiday company.

40 Thomas Cook and Airtours kids’ clubs will feature special Danger Mouse-themed two hour sessions, with top secret activities based around the animated comedy TV series.

Secured in conjunction with kids’ promotions agency Whipper Snapper, the partnership kicks off in July and will continue until the end of the season in September.

The initiative is expected to reach around 65,000 children from the UK travelling on holiday with Thomas Cook.

Tessa Moore, svp global brand management at FremantleMedia Kids & Family, said: “Danger Mouse has already recruited thousands if not millions of new fans, and with the second series due to blast onto CBBC screens this spring, we are thrilled to be working with Thomas Cook on this partnership which brings them even further into the Danger Network.”

Tony Hopkins, product director at Thomas Cook UK & Ireland, added: “We want all of our younger holidaymakers to have a great holiday, and the activities we’ve developed with the Danger Mouse team will definitely help make our kids’ clubs a memorable experience.

“We’re really looking forward to welcoming Danger Mouse this summer.”
