Deer Little Forest brand expands into Asia

Art and lifestyle brand to make its debut at the Hong Kong Licensing Fair.

Art and lifestyle property Deer Little Forest is to make its debut into the Asian market, with its agent in the territory – Empire Multimedia – showcasing it at Hong Kong Licensing Fair next week.

Empire Multimedia is working with brand owner Koko Rose Media, and believes that Deer Little Forest – and its preschool spin-off, Flora of the Forest – has strong potential across Asia.

Hubert Co, president of Empire Multimedia commented: “Deer Little Forest and Flora of the Forest are whimsical brands that are a natural for merchandise and promotional licensing in SEA and Greater China.

“The great artwork, together with the timely back-to-nature and go-green themes, will give products an added edge for 2017 and beyond.”

Deer Little Forest was created by Jo Rose and launched as a licensing brand in 2013 at Brand Licensing Europe. It originally found popularity within the greeting cards space in retailers including Harrods, Liberty, John Lewis and Selfridges.

It now boasts product across stationery, apps, homewares and publishing.

Flora of the Forest, meanwhile, is a preschool animation series currently in development with King Rollo Films.

Hong Kong International Licensing Show runs from January 9-11.
