FremantleMedia Kids and Family Entertainment’s Danger Mouse scaled new heights when he was projected onto the side of the BBC in Hull as part of CBBC Live and Digital. The projection formed part of a special interactive game – children had to use code to help DM make his way 24 metres across the building, up, down and around windows, avoiding baddies to get to the top in time to escape with his jet pack.

Meanwhile, giant bunny Mim-mim from Kate & Mim-Mim and Tree Fu Tom will be heading across the Severn Bridge to Cardiff to entertain the crowds at the annual CBeebies Christmas Panto this weekend.

A joint agreement between Warner Bros., Animaccord and Ink Global will see Masha and the Bear make its big screen debut across Italy this Christmas. The release will run from December 23 to January 10 in selected cinemas across the country.

A Fox-branded theme park and resort is to be built in Dubai. This will be the second 20th Century Fox World theme park and the first ever Fox-branded resort. The deal also allows for the roll out of up to three additional Fox-branded resorts in territories outside Dubai.

Outdoor toy and pocket money specialist, H Grossman has added a further two licences to its portfolio. The company will create a full range of products for the new Ghostbusters and the upcoming The Secret Life of Pets.

East Coast Nursery’s bedding set for The Very Hungry Caterpillar picked up two accolades at the Right Start Awards. It won Gold in the Nursery category, plus the Best Overall Birth+ award.

Arabic free to air kids’ channel, Spacetoon, has revealed its first co-production. MIA is a new 3D CGI comedy for two to six year olds with a strong environmental message. A toy line has already been developed, with Spacetoon and Lalune Light Studio managing the licensing campaign for the brand across a number of territories.

Nelvana has signed new broadcast deals for Trucktown and Mike the Knight with Discovery Latin America and Société Radio-Canada.

Netflix original series Care Bears & Cousins is to debut today (November 6), American Greetings Entertainment has confirmed.
