Forever Friends stickers head to Apple’s iMessage

Hallmark teams with Neon Play for sticker packs featuring the popular brand.

Hallmark International has inked a deal with games developer Neon Play which has seen the company develop Forever Friends stickers for Apple’s iMessage.

The initial launch consists of an everyday pack of 52 stickers for £1.49, covering everything from congratulations to flowers, get well, thank you and even simply hello.

A Christmas version is also available for 79p, while future developments are also planned.

The Forever Friends sticker app has already reached number two in the iMessage charts in both Top Paid and Top Grossing.

Oli Christie, Neon Play’s ceo, said: “We are very excited to be collaborating with such an iconic brand.

“The bear has such broad appeal and ability to cover so many different messages and occasions – it’s perfect for this type of product. We’ve had some great initial feedback on the product and are delighted it has performed so well in the charts already.”

Julie Michell, senior licensing manager at Hallmark, added: “Neon Play are a great company to work with – they have developed a great Forever Friends app and we’re hoping for some fantastic successes.

“The iconic cute bear has a special place in the hearts of consumers of all ages and with Forever Friends celebrating 30 years next year, the timing couldn’t be better.”
