YouTube star’s Toys AndMe brand continues to grow with charity single due to launch on November 18.
Those Licensing People is continuing to grow the brand around hit YouTube channel Toys AndMe, hosted by eight year old Tiana, launching a charity Christmas single on November 18.
The single – called Snow Flakes – is in support of KidsOut and Rainbow Trust, and was written and produced by Those Licensing People. It will release on music label Red Rocca and will be available to buy and stream on all major digital platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify and Deezer.
Having debuted on Tiana’s YouTube channel, the music video will also help to launch TLP’s new Kidscast app – which arrives on December 12.
Kidscast.tv is a subscribable app, containing offline games and a monthly webzine through the Kidscast Club. Children will be able to watch both old school and contemporary TV shows in a safe environment.
The first line-up of shows will be announced on December 1, but it is clear that having Tiana’s music video on the app will be a big draw.
Russell Dever, founder of TLP, commented: “We gave ourselves a challenge – having established Toys AndMe as a brand in its own right and signed first apparel licence with Fashion UK, we set out to hit the Christmas charts just three weeks ago before our launch date.
“Several sleepless nights, six live reindeer, half a ton of fake snow, a giant Polar Bear, Santa, elves and 25 children later; we have the music and video we conceived.
“The back story to the filming was released the day after the final shoot and was viewed by 150,000 people on its first day.”
Tiana Toys AndMe was launched in April 2015 and her videos have so far generated more than 1.6 billion views.
