Christmas card drawings from 1942 set to go up for auction in Paris in November.
A collection of Tintin original ink drawings will go up for auction in Paris next month, and is expected to raise £2.2 million.
The 20 pictures, from 1942, were originally used on Christmas cards and have estimates of £110,000 each.
They will be accompanied by 11 of the cards. These were the first marketing products for The Adventures of Tintin comics and are estimated at £10,000 each.
The auction is due to be held at Artcurial in Paris on November 19.
