John Lewis begins its Christmas countdown

Licences including Pusheen, Roald Dahl, Hello Kitty, Peanuts star in special gift collections.

With 87 days until Christmas, retailers are beginning to show their hand when it comes to seasonal gifting, with John Lewis featuring a number of new and classic licences in its offering.

The retailer has put together a number of special gift collections, which are starring in its Christmas shops online and in-store.

Stationery collections have been assembled for brands including Hello Kitty, Roald Dahl, Vintage Peanuts, Where’s Wally?, Caroline Gardner and Happy Jackson.

Meanwhile, the retailer’s Pusheen collection includes a range of stationery and accessories.

The Ted Baker women’s collection features products such as notebooks, diffusers, candles and luggage tag/passport sets, while there is also a men’s collection featuring notebooks and other items.

There are also gift ranges for House of Hackney, Orla Kiely and Sophie Conran for Burgon & Ball.

In addition, ceramics and textile pieces make up the Hinchcliffe & Barber line, while the Royal Selangor Star Wars collection includes a selection of pewterware.

Figurines are available for characters including Darth Vader and Hans Solo, while the collection also incorporates a range of home accessories such as mugs and tumblers, plus USB flash drives, a trinket box and two sets of Star Wars-branded cufflinks.
