Now Gemma signs up Animal Jam

Company working on cards, wrap and partyware for online playground.

Busy Gemma International has added another licence to its portfolio in the form of Animal Jam.

The company is now working on a range of cards, wrap and partyware for the property, which was created by WildWorks in collaboration with National Geographic.

The online playground is aimed at children who love animals and the outdoors. Players create and customise their own animal characters and dens, chat with friends, adopt pets and team up for adventures.

The licensing for Animal Jam is being handled by Vickie O’Malley at Rockpool Licensing.

Thalia Clare, licensing executive at Gemma, said: “The popularity of the Animal Jam gaming app and digital following speaks for itself, this is already a brand with a huge international following.

“The characters are cute, the games are fun, and the educational element adds another dimension, engaging both kids and parents.

“The toys are already in high demand, and retailers are already asking us when they can place their orders.”
