Poster campaign will run across the tube, bus and rail network.
Sanrio is once again joining forces with Transport for London, with Mr Men Little Miss characters appearing in the department’s behavioural campaign.
The two companies have worked together to create 14 posters featuring different characters from the series and will initially launch with six from July. They will run across the tube, bus and rail network for at least one year, with posters on every tube platform and most bus stations.
Each will carry a key message from TFL’s behavioural campaign such as ‘Please do not obstruct the doors’, ‘Please move along the platform’ and ‘Please allow others off before boarding’.
Characters featured include Mr Daydream, Mr Rush, Little Miss Stubborn, Mr Tall, Mr Strong and Mr Busy.
Sanrio is also working with licensees on a range of product based on the TFL x Mr Men artwork including a DTR with Paperchase.
“We are really excited to be working with TFL on this campaign and that Mr Men Little Miss will be bringing a smile to everyone on their journeys,” Alastair McHarrie, head of UK licensing at Sanrio, told The Source.
Last year, Sanrio enjoyed strong success when it worked with TFL on a Mr Men in London book, which went on to become its best selling title in 2015.
