Mercis will be highlighting plans for the global launch of the new TV series.
Mercis will arrive at next week’s Licensing Expo buoyed by the successful 60th anniversary celebrations for Miffy in 2015, and also marking 45 years in business.
The company will be highlighting its global launch of the new TV series – Miffy’s Adventures Big and Small, which is from London-based animation studio Blue-Zoo.
A third season has been given the green light, and 26 new episodes will be delivered for the end of July 2017.
The show has already met with success in existing territories, with Spain being the latest country to air the show. It will appear on TVE Clan from June 20.
Mercis will also be talking about a string of new products, partnerships and opportunities for personal interaction in the coming two to three years for Miffy.
Earlier this year, the Miffy Museum and Studio: Dick Bruna opened as permanent visitor attractions in Utrecht in The Netherlands.
Over 65,000 visitors have been notched up during the first four months, with Mercis saying that the popularity of the attractions is exceeding all expectations.
Mercis will be exhibiting on booth L204 at Licensing Expo, which runs from June 21-23 in Las Vegas.
