New and classic programmes to be highlighted at Licensing Expo.
FremantleMedia Kids & Family will be highlighting the ongoing licensing push for Danger Mouse at Licensing Expo.
The company will be talking about both the new and classic series, alongside other key brands on its booth.
The new Danger Mouse became CBBC’s highest rated new series launch since 2012 when it arrived in the UK last September.
It is now airing on ABC in Australia, TV Four in New Zealand and Netflix in the Americas, Nordics, Benelux and Japan, with other territories launching in the near future.
Jazwares launched its toy line in the UK in the spring. This will be followed by a range of other core categories including publishing, a magazine and DVD in the summer, plus apparel and homewares in autumn/winter.
The international toy roll out will then begin in the US and Australia later this year, followed by other territories in 2017.
Fremantle will also be showcasing developments in the classic Danger Mouse programme. It debuted on Netflix in June 2015 and the licensing team has been busy signing a number of licences for a consumer products programmed aimed at adults.
Also key for the company at Licensing Expo will be preschool show, Kate & Mim-Mim, which saw series two launch on Disney Junior US in early 2016.
Consumer products activity in the US includes a recent DVD launch from SkipRope. Just Play will launch its toy line in the summer, followed by a Penguin Random House range of books and apparel from June.
A number of additional US licensees for the brand will be announced in the near future.
Fellow preschool brand, Tree Fu Tom, will also be highlighted by the company during the show.
