Skew launches 2025 edition of the Not Just Colouring In survey

A new survey has launched to explore the true impact of creative teams in the licensing industry.

Following the success of its inaugural year, Not Just Colouring In (NJCI) is back with its second annual survey, this time asking the question: what is the true impact of creative work in licensing and brand extension?

Launched in 2024, NJCI was created to amplify the voices of creatives working across the licensing industry, uncover the real challenges they face and champion the business value of creative contribution. The initiative received a positive response, with hundreds of professionals sharing insights that fed into a first-of-its-kind industry report.

The report was shared during an exclusive invite-only in-person event, where creatives, team leads and decision makers came together for an evening of conversation and community.

Since then, NJCI has continued to grow, with two in-person events and the launch of an Instagram community (@notjustcolouringin_), offering a space for talent spotlights, trend sharing, and deeper connection across the creative licensing ecosystem.

The 2025 survey will aim to build on previous findings, introducing new questions focused on impact measurement, recognition and creative value. In return, participants get access to exclusive insights from across the industry; priority invitations to in-person events and networking opportunities; plus early access to the NJCI 2025 report.
