Dalian Talent Group secures exclusive five-year French Connection partnership

Dalian Talent Group has seured a five-year global licensing partnership with British brand, French Connection.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in the company’s 27-year history. Established in the UK in 1997, Dalian Talent Group caters for both private label and licensing for home fragrance, candles, candle-related home furnishings and personal care products.

The debut French Connection collection is available across the UK, Europe, India, US, Middle East and online, and features eight ranges plus gift sets – Pastel, Autumn, Bamboo, Wooden, Stone, Metallic, Black & White and Botanical.

Crafted with sustainably sourced shea butter, harvested from the ‘tree of life’ in the West African savannah, the collection aligns with French Connection’s eco-friendly brand values.

“The development of the French Connection home fragrance range was a deeply collaborative process,” commented Hamish Morjaria, ceo at Dalian Talent Group. “We worked closely with French Connection’s design team to ensure the collection authentically reflected the brand’s values, aesthetics, and emerging trends. From fragrance development to formulation, product design and packaging, every aspect was carefully curated to align with the brand’s identity and consumer expectations.

“This synergy enabled an accelerated development timeline, bringing the first collection to market in just six months. This efficiency helped French Connection secure another major retail rollout, including a 265-store placement with Next in the UK and availability on Next.com.”

Notably, the French Connection candle collection was shortlisted for the Spring Fair 75 Years of Excellence Awards in February 2025, further solidifying its impact in the market.

As part of the long-term partnership, Dalian Talent Group and French Connection are already working on the next two seasonal collections.
