Licensed names among Gift of the Year 2025 finalists

After four live judging days at Spring Fair earlier this month, the judges’ votes have been counted, with The Giftware Association revealing the official finalists in the Gift of the Year (GOTY) 2025.

The awards – which will take place at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Thursday 15 May – cover some 20 categories within the gift and homewares world, from jewellery to games through to sustainable products and cards, stationery and wrap.

“This year’s Gift of the Year has been one of the most competitive yet, with judges from leading retailers, trade press and industry professionals struggling to select their top choices from a truly outstanding pool of over 900 entries,” commented The Giftware Association’s PR and marketing manager Chris Workman.

Finalists in the Branded Gift category are:

  • The Gruffalo Collection by Blade & Rose
  • RHS x Gibsons Collection
  • House of Games Christmas Crackers (Puzzle Post)
  • Harry Potter Trunkbox Advent Calendar (The Carat Shop)
  • Licensed Polaroid Range (Mustard)
  • Classic Paddington on a Phone Box (Rainbow Designs)

Licensed products can also be found in a number of the other categories.

The English Soap Company is nominated in the Beauty, Bath & Spa category for its Kew Gardens Triple Soap Gift Boxes, while Puzzle Post has received a nod in Festive & Occasions for The Official Traitors Christmas Crackers.

Royal Shakespeare Company x Nicole Elders – Master of Insults and Disney x Sanderson Collection from Widdop & Co are both nominated in Heritage Gifts incorporating Commemorative, Collectable and Charitable, while Little Beau Sheep‘s Shaun the Shaun x Little Beau Sheep is part of the Made in the UK nominations.
