Fast growing pop culture collectable TUBBZ eyes further expansion

The quirky TUBBZ cosplaying collectables reached new heights in 2024, with sales leaping to an all-time high of 2.63 million units globally – a new record, surpassing those previously set in 2022 and 2023.

Now, the company is eyeing further growth, with Ben Grant, one of the founders, confidently predicting sales of over five million units in 2025, followed by 10 million in 2026 and 18 million units in 2027.

TUBBZ takes favourite characters from popular culture and reimagines them as quirky cosplaying ducks, with franchises taken from the worlds of film, TV, gaming, music and beyond.

“We work with most of the major entertainment brands around, to bring their popular characters into the TUBBZ world including Universal, Warner Bros, Paramount, Sony Pictures, SEGA and Amazon to name a few,” commented Ben. “Plus, major retailers are backing the TUBBZ phenomenon, bringing the collectable products to a wider audience which has been a game-changer for us. With 200 new characters coming in 2025, retailers are increasing their orders and with new retail partners coming on board weekly, we are anticipating breaking the record again.”

The TUBBZ collection began with nostalgic brands that have strong fan bases including Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Street Fighter and Resident Evil. The range has since expanded to include current favourites such as Wicked, Minecraft, Five Nights at Freddy’s, John Wick, Chainsaw Man and Naruto among others.

Launches for 2025 will include products around key movies such as How To Train Your Dragon, Jurassic World Rebirth, Superman and Minecraft, as well as Hazbin Hotel, Shrek, The US Office and the second Wicked movie.

The success of TUBBZ has been underlined by major retailers in Europe and the US pledging their support including Smyths Toys, HMV, Very, B&M, Carrefour, Mediamarkt, Fnac, Amazon, Spirit Halloween, Five Below, Gamestop, Books A Million and Hot Topic among others.

Ben concluded: “This quirky idea came about five years ago and we are ecstatic that this journey has taken us to become a major force in collectables already; we’re just getting started. We urge retailers to join us and share the success of the wonder that is TUBBZ – we can boldly say that there are no other rubber ducks that look this good.”
