Chef & Sue makes greeting card move

CardMix will create new collection featuring humorous brand.

Start Licensing is continuing to grow the quirky Chef & Sue brand – inking a deal with CardMix at the recent PG Live event.

CardMix will now create a range of greeting cards inspired by the property.

Ian Downes, md of Start Licensing, told The Source: “The humour associated with Chef & Sue is a natural fit for greetings cards.

“The characters have a distinct style which will ensure cards stand out at retail. CardMix were quick to recognise the potential in Chef and Sue. We are delighted to be working with such a capable and proactive company.”

Keith Gillespie, sales director at CardMix, added: “We are really excited by the tremendous commercial opportunity we see in Chef & Sue and can’t wait to bring this new range to market.”
