Hot and BBQ Atari sauces to hit shelves courtesy of Sauce Shed

Classic gaming brand, Atari has teamed up with Sauce Shed to launch 10 hot and BBQ sauces inspired by its games.

The partnership was brokered by Atari’s global licensing agency Tinderbox, the specialist digital division of Beanstalk.

The collection – called Atari Sauce – combines the spirit of Atari’s well-known titles, such as Asteroids, Centipede and Breakout, with Sauce Shed’s culinary creativity.

Every ingredient, down to the design of the bottles, has been carefully selected to stay true to the game’s essence.

The collection’s creation is led by Sauce Shed founders and award-winning chefs Olly Reynalds and Dave Perrett, celebrated for pushing culinary boundaries with their fiery creations. Both grew up in the golden era of gaming, spending their childhoods mastering the Atari 2600 and have channeled their passion for gaming and nostalgia into Atari Sauce.

“Atari Sauce is a wonderfully fun partnership, and the creativity of the Sauce Shed team has really captured the imagination of our fans,” commented Casandra Brown, senior director at Atari. “Olly and Dave’s playful approach – ‘where fun meets flavour’ – is a great fit for the Atari brand.”

Olly Reynalds, co-founder of Sauce Shed, continued: “Working with Atari has been a dream come true. We’ve combined our passion for bold, unforgettable flavours with the iconic worlds of Atari’s games to create sauces that are as exciting as they are delicious. This collaboration is all about having fun, and we couldn’t be prouder of the result.”
