Tom Gates takes centre stage with new live show

Dynamic doodler, homework-hater and lover of snacks Tom Gates and his ‘brilliant’ world are being brought to life for family audiences across the UK in a new live show, Tom Gates EPIC Stage Show.

The show will launch in theatres from 2025 and will aim to bring the best of the world of Tom Gates under one roof.

Tom Gates EPIC Stage Show is presented by Mark Thompson Productions in association with TG Entertainment and Liz Pichon.

“Fans of Tom Gates are going to be so excited to see this stage show come to life. It’s going to be funny, interactive and stuffed full of all the things I love putting in the books. Everyone’s going to be in for a treat,” commented Tom Gates’ creator Liz Pichon.

Liz Keynes, commercial director at TG Entertainment, continued: “Tom Gates has a legion of extremely engaged and loyal young fans who are always looking for new opportunities to connect with his unique blend of life experiences and creativity in addition to enjoying the books and TV series. This exhilarating live show brings Tom and his friends’ antics to life in a brilliant way for the whole family to enjoy.”

Liz Pichon’s multi-award-winning Tom Gates book series has sold more than 16.5 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 47 languages. The 23 novels, in handwritten font with Tom’s doodles and pictures embellishing the text, document in hilarious detail his everyday trials and tribulations at home and school.

Tom’s world also features in the award-winning TV spin-off – The Brilliant World of Tom Gates.

Tom Gates EPIC Stage Show launches in April 2025 at The Rose Theatre in Kingston-upon-Thames before embarking on a 45 date tour around the UK.
