PO.P (formally known as Polarn O. Pyret) has launched its latest exclusive design collaboration, featuring illustrations from Tove Jansson’s beloved Moomin stories.
The partnership is part of the Moomins’ 80th anniversary celebrations in 2025 and marks the first of two collection releases, with the second due to debut in spring 2025.
Tove Jansson’s stories of Moominvalley have touched many around the world. Now, her treasured tales are featured on PO.P’s clothing in an exclusive and limited collection that includes sweatshirts, long-sleeve tops and leggings, striped bodysuits and leggings with Moomin appliqués, and nightwear for babies, children and adults, all made from soft organic cotton. Additionally, the collection features a colourful adult dressing gown, a tote bag and blanket.
With this collaboration, PO.P aims to encourage the idea of ‘passing it on’, based on its core vision that its clothes are made to be inherited.
“We are incredibly proud to collaborate with Moomin, whose beautiful stories of love and friendship align perfectly with PO.P’s core values,” commented Martina Wernemar, product and brand director at PO.P. “We hope this collection will be loved by both children and adults and inspire everyone to pass it on – clothes, memories, and good values.”
