The Formula 1 Exhibition extends London show due to ‘phenomenal demand’

The Formula 1 Exhibition – the fastest selling exhibition at Excel London (aka Immerse LDN) – is extending its residency to 2 March 2025 due to phenomenal public demand.

Following the hugely successful show opening on 23 August, motorsport fans now have more time to experience the past, present and future of Formula 1 in the heart of the capital.

Packed with extensive contributions from F1’s greatest teams and drivers – including Sir Lewis Hamilton’s 2018 Championship-winning Mercedes AMG F1 W09 and Ayrton Senna’s 1988 McLaren MP4/4 – the exhibition lifts the curtain on some of the sport’s greatest stories.

The London show has been the biggest production of The F1 Exhibition show to date, with a number of new additions, including seven iconic championship winning Formula 1 cars, and historic memorabilia from the world of F1.

The exhibition comes to life across six rooms, each specially commissioned for the show and produced in partnership with award-winning curators, artists and filmmakers offering a unique perspective on the story of Formula 1. The rooms include Once Upon A Time In Formula 1®, Design Lab, Drivers & Duels, Revolution by Design, Survival and The Pit Wall.

The London show also pays homage to the British Grand Prix and its contribution to motorsport, through a collaboration with Silverstone Museum. In a European first, it also features state-of-the-art simulators, offering fans the opportunity to get behind the wheel of an F1 car and win tickets for the 2025 British Grand Prix, as well as a host of interactive experiences.

“We are delighted with the popularity of the Formula 1 Exhibition in London and it’s a privilege to extend our run at the ExCeL,” commented Timothy Harvey, lead curator and producer of The Formula 1 Exhibition. “As we enter an exciting climax to the 2024 F1 season, we look forward to welcoming more fans during the off season, Christmas and New Year period to get their Formula 1 fix before all of the on-track action starts again in 2025.”
