Blue Kangaroo Design welcomes new board members

Creative agency, Blue Kangaroo Design has welcomed Ben Laskey and Craig Gordon to its board of directors.

The strategic move further underlines the agency’s commitment to expanding its global footprint.

Ben (pictured left), who began his journey with Blue Kangaroo Design in 2012 as a junior designer and illustrator, has ascended through the ranks to become the new creative director. His tenure has seen him excel as a senior designer and creative lead, showcasing his talent and leadership across numerous high profile projects.

Meanwhile, Craig (pictured right) has been with the agency since 2007 and is now design director. His contributions have been instrumental in driving the creative vision of Blue Kangaroo Design, making him an invaluable asset to the team.

Together, Ben and Craig have collaborated on a myriad of global campaigns for brands such as Mattel, Disney, Paramount Pictures and Spin Master.

Founded in 2006, Blue Kangaroo Design has grown exponentially, establishing its presence in North America, LATAM, EMEA and APAC. The agency – which started with just two employees – now boasts a team of 20. In 2023, Blue Kangaroo Design celebrated a 25% increase in turnover, further boosted by a £30,000 investment in new technology, enabling significant expansion into videography and social media services. The company is on track to achieve a £5 million turnover by 2026.

“I am thrilled to see Ben and Craig promoted to creative director and design director, respectively,” commented Jason Knights, md and founder of Blue Kangaroo Design. “They have each played a key role in growing the business. They have a deep understanding of our clients and will continue to help us on our growth trajectory.”
