The roll call of finalists for The Licensing Awards 2024 is continuing, with the shortlists confirmed for both Best Licensed Retail Marketing Initiative and Best Licensed Promotions Campaign.
Entries for both categories were submitted online and then considered by members of a judging panel which comprised executives from the promotional, marketing, retailing, licensing and advertising fields.
Chaired by Richard Pink, md at Pink Key Licensing, the panel considered the entries against criteria including the objectives of the promotion/initiative, the creative use of the licence and the campaign execution.
“This year saw the highest number of entries we’ve had to judge in these categories and the level of quality has also increased, making it particularly hard to identify both nominations and winners,” commented Richard. “Nevertheless, after some long and detailed discussions there was a general consensus about the best of the entries and the overall winners, all of which demonstrate true creativity and effectiveness.”
