Levi’s debuts McLaren Racing collaboration

With the British Grand Prix due to take place at Silverstone on Sunday 7 July, Levi’s has unveiled a new collaboration with McLaren Racing.

The collection represents the ‘best of heritage and innovation’ and includes a Racing Jacket, Racing Suit, Racing Gloves, a Heritage Trucker, Heritage 501 Jeans, a Constructors Tee and a Racing Bandana, reported The Industry.Fashion.

The Racing Jacket has been inspired by the spirit of McLaren’s vintage era – particularly the 1980s – and is in a light wash with a chain stitch embroidery logo on the back, while the Racing Suit features vintage inspired patches and a ‘McLaren Cars’ print down the right leg and the same co-branded patch.

The three tone gloves have been inspired by vintage McLaren Racing posters, using colours from the classic McLaren colour palette, while the Heritage Trucker jacket features red co-branded patches referencing 80s classic McLaren cars, as do the Heritage 501 jeans.

Further 80s era graphics are featured on the tee and bandana.
