Kate Spade New York teams with Heinz on limited edition collection

Kate Spade New York has taken inspiration from Heinz for its latest collaboration, unveiling a limited edition collection of tomato ketchup-inspired apparel and accessories.

The capsule draws inspiration from each brands’ DNA, reported The Industry.Fashion.

Heinz’s iconography and red ketchup colour are featured on Kate Spade t-shirts, footwear, totes, pouches, small leather goods, phone cases and key chains.

The range is available at Kate Spade New York’s flagship London store, as well as its website and in global markets including the US, Europe, Japan, China and Southeast Asia from 5 July.

“It’s the thoughtful details that bring this collection to life – from the embellishments on the t-shirt to the way our 3D ketchup bag looks just like that classic red and white packet,” commented Jennifer Lyu, svp and head of design at Kate Spade. “I’m excited for customers across generations to experience a little piece of the magic we created with Heinz.”

Megan Lang, head of global Heinz brand communications and creativity, continued: “With this new line of ‘condiment couture’, we’re excited to partner with the iconic Kate Spade New York brand to pay homage to the beloved Heinz brand. At Heinz, we love to celebrate the unique and unconventional ways our fans show their love for us, and this collection is the perfect opportunity to do so.”
