Despicable Me 4 teams with BTS for limited edition capsule and city pop ups

The Minions are collaborating with 21st century pop icons, BTS on a limited edition merchandise capsule and multi-city experiential pop ups to mark the release of Despicable Me 4 in July.

The collaboration is in celebration of new Despicable Me 4 character, Poppy Prescott, who identifies as a member of BTS ARMY.

The limited edition merchandise features vibrant Minions x BTS mash-up art inspired by BTS’ outfits from their 2021 single, Permission to Dance.

Available to pre-order now and until 1 July, the capsule includes a cross category assortment of apparel and accessories such as tees, hoodies, sweats and totes, each with bespoke art with BTS stylised in Minion form.

There will also be a Funko Pop! Collectable 7-pack available exclusively at Entertainment Earth.

The apparel and accessories will also be available at dedicated Despicable Me 4 pop ups in Los Angeles (21 June to 3 July), Seoul (July) and Tokyo (August-September).

As well as highlighting the collection, the retail experience will give fans the chance to explore Poppy Prescott’s Tree House film set recreations, as well as other activations.
