Redan Publishing is ready for a ‘new and exciting’ era, having finalised a change in ownership through a management buy out earlier this year.
After enjoying almost 35 years of part-owning such a successful and reputable company, the founding directors decided to leave the business world and fully focus on retirement.
The current managing director, Julie Jones – herself having had almost 11 years in the role and 21 years at Redan – is now the sole owner of Redan Publishing.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to take Redan forwards and am delighted to have such a supportive, experienced, inspiring and talented team who share the vision and passion for strengthening our well-known and trusted Redan and Fun To Learn brands, as well as seeking out new opportunities to broaden our traditional magazine publishing business,” commented Julie (pictured above with the Redan team). “I am truly grateful for the many learnings and experiences I have gleaned over the last 21 years from our founders, especially to our late founder Robert Sutherland, and wish the remaining founders a healthy, happy and well-deserved retirement.”
Julie continued: “With a fresh approach to collaborative working, we have a number of fun projects on the go. Moving into 2025, we have already secured two very exciting new standalone magazine licenses, one which will launch in spring and the other in summer. Watch this space for more exciting news to come as our plans unfold.”
