Bravado and Pophouse will be marking 50 years of KISS this year, with a number of special releases and a look ahead to a new era of projects.
Global entertainment and music company, Pophouse acquired the KISS music catalogue, brand name, likeness and trademarks in April.
The groundbreaking partnership will see Pophouse work closely with KISS to develop a number of tentpole projects including a biopic, an avatar show, fan-first partnerships and a KISS themed experience.
The company will further develop and amplify the KISS legacy worldwide: preserving the band’s iconic music, enigmatic personas and expressive imagery for generations to come.
Starting from this year, Bravado will commemorate KISS’ 50th anniversary of their certified gold album Hotter than Hell with a new ‘Hotter than Hell’ rum in partnership with Brands for Fans.
For the first time ever, collectables brand Weta Workshop will be entering the music realm with KISS figurines, the first of the four-figure set is available for pre-order now, offering fans a new category of KISS memorabilia.
The activity further builds on the epic NYC takeover to celebrate the band’s final shows ever at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden, which included a light show at the historic Empire State, partnerships and a pop-up store.
