One week to go: Live and kicking licensing at PG Live 2024

Progressive Greetings Live 2024 opens its doors a week today (4 June) – and if you’re in licensing, you don’t want to miss out on attending the world’s largest specialist greeting card trade fair.

The show takes place Tuesday 4 June and Wednesday 5 June at London’s Business Design Centre, and it’s easy to register for your free ticket and receive your Show Preview.

Of the 220 exhibitors at PG Live, a third have licensing connections, both licensing in as well as licensing out.

Abacus Cards, The Art File, ArtPress, Brainbox Candy, Cardology, Carousel Calendars, Cath Tate, Danilo, GBCC, Glick, Hallmark, Hype, Ling Design, Ohh Deer, Posh Paws, Penny Kennedy, Pigment, The Porch Fairies, Rainbow Designs, Tache, Widdop & Co, Woodmansterne and UK Greetings are just a handful of the licensees and licensing-friendly publishers that will be exhibiting. Leading art licensing companies, Creative Sparrow, The Bright Agency and Jehane will also be exhibiting.

Moreover, with the UK greeting card industry’s world leading position, an increasing number of PG Live exhibitors have licensing programmes for their own brands. These include Paper Salad, Raspberry Blossom, Carte Blanche Greetings, Meg Hawkins, Crumble & Core, Pigment, Wendy Jones-Blackett, Bewilderbeest, Say it with Songs, Laura Darrington Design and Louise Tiler Designs.

Danilo will once again be exhibiting at PG Live following a successful showing in 2023.

“PG Live will be a celebration of the wonders and strength of licensing collaborations right across the board, from the oldest heritage brands through to the latest TikTok sensations,” commented Ian Hyder, director of Max Exhibitions, which owns and organises PG Live. “And it is very much a two way street, with the Widdop & Co stand alone showcasing its licensing collaborations with five fellow exhibitions, namely Say it with Songs, Raspberry Blossom, Hotchpotch London, Meg Hawkins and Pigment.”

Adding to the warm welcome, visitors will receive a limited edition Peter Rabbit tote bag (sponsored by Hallmark), enjoy a complimentary lunch (sponsored by Scribbler); free tea and coffee in ‘proper’ cups all day (sponsored by Windles), plus an opening night drinks party (sponsored by Loxleys).
