Moomin Characters and Rights & Brands expand relationship

Moomin Characters – copyright owner of the Finnish brand Moomin – and Rights & Brands – global master licensee of The Moomins – are expanding their partnership with Rights & Brands Asia.

Following RBA’s proven success in Greater China, the company has been granted the exclusive right to represent the Moomin brand in Southeast Asia.

With a rich heritage spanning over seven decades, the Moomin brand has become a global phenomenon, resonating with fans of all ages.

“It is our great pleasure to appoint Rights & Brands Asia, enabling them to replicate their success in Greater China across Southeast Asia,” commented Roleff Kråkström, ceo at R&B and Moomin Characters. “With their strong representatives within merchandising, literature, content development and digital expertise, RBA will be able to further develop the Moomin brand, and engage more deeply with consumers in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and other markets within Southeast Asia.”

With its in-depth understanding of local market dynamics and extensive network of partners, RBA is well-positioned to introduce a wide range of Moomin-inspired products and experiences to fans across the region.

Bianca Lee, ceo at RBA, continued: “We are thrilled to expand our collaboration with Moomin Characters and R&B, to become their exclusive licensing representative in Southeast Asia. The Moomin brand has a strong and dedicated fan base in this region, and we are committed to delivering high-quality licensed products and immersive experiences that will delight Moomin enthusiasts.”
