Animaccord welcomes new agent in Brazil for Masha and the Bear

Animaccord has confirmed a new partnership with Vertical Licensing to expand its popular Masha and the Bear brand in Brazil.

According to recent data from Parrot Analytics, the company’s flagship property already ranks in the top three most in-demand preschool shows in the Brazilian market, with this new deal set to boost it even further.

Based in São Paulo, Vertical Licensing has built a strong reputation as one of Brazil’s leading agencies. With a rich history of successful collaborations across various industries and an in-depth understanding of the local market, the agency is ideally positioned to help Animaccord elevate the Masha and the Bear brand in Brazil.

As part of the partnership, Vertical Licensing will work closely with Animaccord to refine the overall strategy for Masha and the Bear’s consumer products and live entertainment programme in Brazil. The agency will be mapping and promoting marketing opportunities in the region by maximising relationships with existing licensees and identifying new licensing opportunities.

“We are delighted to be starting this partnership with Animaccord,” commented Alexandre Volpi, ceo at Vertical Licensing. “We want to continue the excellent work that has been done with the property in recent years in Brazil and identify points for improvement or categories that have not yet been fully explored. Masha and the Bears is a loved animation by the Brazilian audience, and we see a lot of potential to increase the success of the consumer products programme even further. We will also pay special attention to the location-based entertainment strategy, to make the experience with the brand even more special for Brazilian families and children.”

Magdalena Weremiuk, head of consumer products and live entertainment at Animaccord, continued: “Animaccord is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Vertical Licensing as a new licensing agent in Brazil. This dynamic collaboration represents a major step forward in expanding Masha and the Bear’s reach within the vibrant Brazilian market. Vertical Licensing’s proven expertise in brand management, coupled with their in-depth understanding of local consumer preferences, positions them as the ideal partner to help sustain brand visibility and engagement for Masha and the Bear across the region.

“We are confident that together we will unlock exciting new opportunities to reach a broader Brazilian audience, solidifying Masha and the Bear’s position as a beloved household name.”
